We are the dreamers, the aggressive pacifists, the unconscientious objectors, the mental vagabonds—the ones still seeking something.
After/Thought Literary is a journal for the left-out, the leftovers, the people in the margins—the outsiders, the loners, the ones who can’t quite put their finger on the question, much less the answer.
We are brand new and want to publish work that not only makes us think but makes us feel something.
We want to feel something old. Something new. Something weird.
Make us nervous. Make us sorrowful. Creep us out. Incite an internal riot.
Knock us into our feels so hard we won’t want to come out.
