D. Seth Horton was born on the border, and his critical and creative work mostly deals with the region. He’s published more than ninety pieces of fiction, poetry, and academic journal articles. In 2024, TCU Press published his collection of experimental stories set throughout the U.S.-Mexico borderlands entitled, On a NASA Flight to Heaven. He also founded the anthology series, New Stories from the Southwest (University of Ohio Press and University of New Mexico Press).
