Caution

“Will you kiss me?”

“Whaat?” She was my best friend’s fifteen year old daughter. I looked at her and she wasn’t a kid anymore. I don’t know why I didn’t notice she had become a young woman. A shapely one. I had stopped by and she told me they wouldn’t be back for an hour or so. I didn’t want to hurt her or my friends and I thought quickly.

“No,” and she got embarrassed. “For two reasons. One my lips are too dry for kissing,” and she giggled. “Two. It’s inappropriate for a man my age to do anything with a young woman your age.”

“Other people do it. I see it all the time on social media.”

“That may be, but I don’t. And you shouldn’t. If you do things with an older man you lose every special experience of a young woman and you’ll miss first love.”

“Does that really happen?”

“If you’re lucky.”

“Did it happen to you?”

“Yes. I was your age. Judy and I fell for each other at first sight. I was a bad boy and she was a good girl, but it was perfect for us.”

“Did you sex her?”

“No. We kissed and touched each other. If we did more it would have changed us. We were innocent, but passionate together.”

“So I should wait for first love?”

“You should carefully develop relationships and decide who to be with and how far to go.”

“Yeah. Right. All the boys are gay or trans. I’ll probably have to do it with a girl. Thanks a lot,” and she walked out of the room.
